Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the StripArt mobile application (“App”) provided by Philip Zvar (“Developer”, “we”, “us”), located in Aarschot, Belgium. By downloading or using StripArt, you agree to these Terms.
1. Apple Standard EULA
StripArt is made available through the Apple App Store. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) . In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple’s EULA regarding the App, Apple’s EULA prevails to the extent required by Apple’s terms.
2. Description of service
StripArt allows you to create scroll animations from photos and export them as GIF files for use with LED strip displays. The App runs entirely on your iOS device.
3. License
Subject to these Terms and Apple’s EULA, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StripArt on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules.
4. In-App Purchases

4.3 Billing
All purchases are processed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. The Developer does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment information.
4.4 Restore Purchases
You can restore a previous purchase at any time using the Restore Purchase button in the App’s paywall. You must be signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
4.5 Refunds
Refund requests must be submitted to Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support. The Developer cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to photos and animations you create with StripArt. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any source photos and exported content, and for compliance with applicable laws when displaying content on LED hardware or sharing GIFs.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code, except where permitted by law.
- Circumvent the free export limit or in-app purchase system.
- Use the App to create content that infringes third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
StripArt is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that animation output will meet your specific LED hardware requirements. Results depend on photo quality, resolution settings, and display hardware.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Philip Zvar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of StripArt.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App and in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or €10 if you used only the free tier.
9. EU consumer rights
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by these Terms, including rights under applicable consumer protection law. Nothing in these Terms limits those mandatory rights.
